The Gates Cambridge Scholarship
For whom: This scholarship is provided by ?The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation?. Students who are entering oxford university for PG courses or for research can apply for this. But students need to apply to the university as well as the foundation for admission. University will scrutinize the applications and recommend merit students to the foundation. Scholarships are given based on it. They are providing scholarships for nearly 90 students every year. Students who apply for PhD degree or one year PG, two years M.Sc or second Bachelors degree can apply for this scholarship.
Eligibility: Should have passed honors degree in first class or high second class from a recognized university. Should confirm admission into Cambridge University without any recommendations.

Vanier Canada scholarships
For whom: This is given to the students who get admission into 92 universities of Canada for doctorial studies. Selected candidates will get huge financial support. Yearly 50,000 Canadian dollars are given for 3 years.
Eligibility: Good academic record, leadership skills, teaching in the respective field is necessary. Preference is given for those having skills in research training.

Ford Foundation Post Doctoral Research Fellowship in Economics
For whom: This is given to the students who are entering economics at post doctoral level in recognized foreign universities or economic research institutes. Selected candidates are given scholarship for one year.
Eligibility: Should be Indian citizen and should have work experience in teaching in recognized universities, colleges or research institutes. Age should not exceed 40 years.
