How to apply Foreign Education Scholarships in September 2010| Skoll scholarship (Oxford), Chinese scholarship, HRD Scholarships-Norway
Skoll scholarship, Oxford
For whom: This is given to those who take up MBA with a goal of social, environmental and entrepreneurial solutions. Generally last date will be in the first week of January. It is better if applied in the month of September and October itself.
Eligibility: Those who have started a social venture or worked in it for one year.

Chinese scholarship
For whom: This is provided for the students who get into courses like Chinese language and literature, fine arts (painting and sculpture), botany, environmental sciences, plant breeding and genetics, political sciences, sericulture and agronomy at PG or higher level in China. Selected students will get the scholarship within one to four years. In this period tuition fee, accommodation expenses and other expenses are borne by Indian and Chinese governments.
Eligibility: Indian citizens below 40 years can apply. Students wishing to enter PG with fine arts should have a completed bachelor of fine arts with a minimum of 60%. So also to get admission in Chinese language, a two or three years degree or diploma in basic Chinese from a recognized university is necessary.

HRD Scholarships-Norway
For whom: This is provided for the students who go for post graduation or M. Phil courses in Norway institutes in the subjects of natural resources and sustainable agriculture, electrical power engineering, development studies, hydro power development, petroleum engineering, international fisheries management, petroleum geo science, special needs education. Selected candidates are given scholarship for 10 months. Selected Bachelor degree and PG level students will get monthly 8,500 krones, and Norway crown, PhD students will get monthly 11,500 krones. Accommodation charges and traveling expenses should be borne by the student.
Eligibility: 60% marks in bachelors or masters level is necessary. Age should not exceed 40 years. At the time of applying for the scholarship, student should be confirmed of the admission from a recognized university of Norway.
