Solar Guru E 1107 is a world?s first solar powered mobile phone. With one hour charging with solar power provides 10 to 15 minutes of talk time for Samsung?s guru E 1107. The full charging of Samsung Guru 1107 takes about 40 Hours and this gives a talk time of 14 hours. Electricity is the main source of power for charging Samsung Guru E 1107 solar mobile phone.
According Samsung authorities Samsung is going to release another solar powered mobile phone namely Blue earth (high end model with touch screen) by the end of 2009. Samsung Blue earth the name of model shall provide a talk time of 4 hours with 10 to 14 hours of charging with solar power.
Samsung Guru 1107 will have 1.52-inch screen, 1MB memory and 800mAh battery and Features of Samsung Guru 1107 solar powered mobile include FM radio, MP3 ring tones, embedded games and torch light.
Initially Samsung solar mobile Guru 1107 shall be imported from Korea and Samsung may plan manufacturing of Samsung Guru 1107 at Noida later. Samsung Guru E 1107 shall be launched soon in Indian markets. It will be launched in other markets like Europe, Southeast Asia, Southwest Asia, and Latin America later. Samsung Guru E 1107, the solar powered mobile is priced at Rs 2,799 in India.
