Satyha sai baba was born on 23rd November 1926 as Satyanarayana Raju at Puttaparthi in Ananthapur district. Sai baba became prominent because of the miracles he does before the devotees. The trust founded by satya sai baba is organizing several service oriented schemes in India. Satya sai baba trust receives the highest donations from devotees from foreign countries.
Satya sai seva trust has implemented the drinking water to the villages Anantapur district, East and West Godavari districts in Andhra Pradesh and Chennai city. Sathya sai baba is presently funding projects that provide drinking water to villages in Mahabubnagar and Medak districts in Andhra Pradesh.
Satyha sai seva samithi is maintaining hospitals at Puttaparthi and Bangalore and is offering free treatment for the poor. Satya institute of higher learning, a deemed university is offering high quality education. The trust publishes magazines, books on the speeches of satya sai baba and CDs and DVDs containing the speeches of baba.
On the eve of baba?s birth day bhajans are performed and baba gives darshan to selected devotees.
