Nearly 30 to 50 thousand pilgrims visit Tirumala Tirupathi? to have darshan of lord balaji at Tirumala. Getting accommodation at Tirumala or Tirupathi is a big issue to pilgrims visiting Tirumala.TTD ( Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam) has built cottages and guest houses both at Tirumala and Tirupathi to accommodate the pilgrims of lord venkateswara.

Paid accommodation by TTD at Tirupathi :
Sri Venkateswara Dharmasala, Sri Venkateswara Guest House Sri Kodandarama Dharmasala near Railway Station and TTD Alipiri Guest House offer non air-conditioned accommodation. Sri Padmavathi Guest House offers air-conditioned accommodation
Sri Govindaraja Dharmasala and Sri Kodanda Rama Dharmasala managed by TTD provide free accommodation at Tirupathi.
TTD provides free accommodation in choultries at Tirumala. Pilgrims can contact CRO (Central Reception Office) near Bus Stand for free accommodation.
Paid accommodation by TTD at Tirumala
Sri Padmavathi Guest House, Sri Venkateswara Guest House Area and Sri Varahaswami Guest House, Rambagicha, HUDC. Cost of accommodation ranges from Rs.100/- to Rs.2,500/- depending on size and a/c facility.
Reservation for AC accommodation and Non-AC accommodation above Rs 100 per day can be made only at the Central Reception Office, Tirumala.
For reservation of Non-AC accommodation upto Rs. 100 per day, Pilgrims can make reservations upto 30 days in advance. Reservations can be made in person at TTD Information Centres in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pondicherry, Visakhapatnam and other district Head Quarters in AP, by paying the requisite amount. Reservation for accommodation can be made in advance through online at official website at www.ttdsevaonline.com

My husband, 2 children and self will be visiting the temple on 23-12-2010. We need accomodation from 22-12-2010 until 23-12-2010, near the balaji temple, preferably within walking distance as we wish to attend the subrabatham prayers at 3 a.m. We would prefer clean rooms with hot-shower facilities, some sort of exclusive guest house [on the high end side] would be preferred.
